Person A:
*frustrated* Do you know how much -that- one has eaten since they -got- here?
Person B:
*calmly* No, I’ve not made a habit of checking constantly. Why?
Person A:
Because they’ve only eaten ONE TIME, and -that- was because they were -forced-! It’s been nearly two months.
Person B:
*still calmly* So? Force them if you need to.
Person A:
It’s not that EASY!
Person B:
*dry* You know we do have the option of an IV.
Person A:
*shakes head* Not with that one, we don’t. Every IV just gets ripped out about five minutes after we put it in.
Person B:
… *…* *sigh* Are you -daft-? -Restrain- them and it will fix the entire -problem-!
Person A:
*flat* You try restraining that one, see what happens.
Person B:
…you have to be the most cowardly person -alive-.
Person A:
No, I just have common sense and a -bit- more empathy than you do.
Person B:
There’s no room for empathy in what we do. Get over it.
Person A:
You’re a heartless bastard, you know that?
Person B:
I am highly aware, but I don’t mind. It gets the job done without making myself miserable.
